I’ve been really into aluminium at the moment. I see industrial designers effortlessly create the most beautiful yet bleak furniture. Places like barcelona, with some of the great furniture designers , with such detailed atchitecture around, and the stainless steel, aluminum, concrete materials they use are such a contrast to the Gaudi top 10 spots to visit on trip adviser. Perhaps thats what makes the best work. Rebellion of ones surroundings. I see nature, I make brutalist things. Clive grows up in a loving home, and makes angsty mid west emo music.
As I’m writing this, I’m transferring files from my Dads 2010 macbook pro HDD to save the data. 16 years of hard work and the thing gave up. A relic from the Steve Jobs era.
